What is Udyoga Setu Job Mela 2026?

Udyoga Setu (ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೇತು) is the KKCCI Job Mela — a free mega job fair hosted by the Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KKCCI), Kalaburagi. It is part of KKCCI’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, marking 60 years since the Chamber was established in 1966. The job mela is being organised under the leadership of KKCCI President Sri Sharnabasappa M. Pappa and Hon. Secretary Sri Shivraj V. Inginshetty.

The Diamond Jubilee runs from 28 to 30 November 2026 alongside a Mega MSME Conclave & Exhibition. The Udyoga Setu Job Mela is the closing-day event on 30 November. Why Udyoga Setu is different from a regular job mela

Most job fairs are a single crowded day. Candidates walk in unprepared, queue at a few stalls, and leave without knowing what happened to their application. I have watched too many good candidates lose out simply because nobody told them what an interview panel expects.

Udyoga Setu is built as a three-stage journey, not a one-day event:

1. Pre-counselling (6 free sessions): You prepare before you face an employer.
2. Job Mela Day (30 Nov): Interviews with participating companies, with results on the day where possible.
3. Post-counselling (1–7 Dec): Follow-up support, so you are not left guessing after the fair.

How to prepare for the Udyoga Setu Job Mela day

The six pre-counselling sessions are where most of the preparation happens. Alongside them, here is what I tell every candidate the week before a job fair:

• Shortlist roles in advance. Use the event page to mark 3–5 openings that match your qualification and expected salary.
• Carry printed copies of your resume and photocopies of your marks cards and certificates, along with the originals.
• Keep your phone charged — your Ayud Jobs registration is on it.
• Arrive early. Gates open at 9 AM at MRMC SAC Building, Sedam Road.
• Be honest about location and salary. Many first jobs are lost in the first month because expectations did not match reality — which is exactly why the 6 November session exists.
